GAME IN SEATTLE, this saturday

Mini Game this weekend

To all Burnaby & Vancouver Players, this Saturday March 31st there is a pre-season 9 a-side football game in Seattle. Both the Eagles and the Cougars would like to field a team each at this event, so if anyone is interested in playing please contact your respective coaches. We need to try and get at least 10 players from each club, the Cougars have at least two cars heading down to Seattle Saturday morning and will be car pooling with those interested, gas costs will be shared. Games are to be played in Burien (just South of Downtown Seattle) and start at 1pm until around 5pm.

Hopefully the constant and relentless rain that has drowned our West Coast of late is behind us and every interested 2007 Eagles player is expected to be at training this Thursday, March 29th

With a core group of guys last week in conditions which could only be described as (good weather if your a bloody duck) it is a must that we all start to turn up on a consistant basis. We will meet at 6:00pm at the Burnaby rugby club change rooms.

You need to bring runners and footy boots and lets get this season going

Official First Training - This Thursday!!!

After the great win on Sunday against the Irish the Eagles now kick off the season with their first official training session this Thursday, March, 22nd at 6pm. We will meet at the Burnaby Lakes Rugby Fields (please see Links for directions). Please bring your boots and runners. The footballs will definitley be out on the paddock.
More than a dozen new players have already shown their face at pre-season, so it would be great to see everyone out for the first training to meet all the new faces. We have a huge list of interested players already this year so please come out to kick off a great year for Burnaby Eagles Football Club. Coach Chris Freeman is very excited about the playing list and would like all those who cannot make it to at least let him know at freemo76@hotmail.com

WELCOME all interested Australian Rules footy players. Training at the Eagles camp has official began. The next two weeks will see trainings organized by Coach Freeman to be announced after the St Patricks day celebrations ( that may go on for two weeks anyway )
April 5th see's the start of training at the artificial turf at Burnaby Lakes West #1 field. Check side bar under schedule for all the details.
