Tickets Takes down the Flash

In the annual Burnaby “fastest man” competition Tickets Wakefield has come out in front. In a close race that received a late flurry of bets, the younger Tickets Wakefield beat last years fastest sprinter Chris “the flash” Freeman. As in true Burnaby tradition the competitor is chosen by the title holder and Freeman will be questioning his decision for some time to come. A young Wakefield had this to say after the race, “It was a close race but if you want to win you have to bring your ‘A’ game that’s what I did tonight”. Freeman was unavailable for comment. Best of luck to all players this coming weekend in what is a Big Weekend for BC Footy. Don’t forget to bring your ‘A’ game.
Players are asked to be at the ground at 9am Saturday morning.
